1970

Company started manufacturing Plasticizers

1973

Amines & Plasticizers was incorporated

1974

Manufacturing of Ethanolamines started using technology from Napthachemie, France (now B.P. Chemicals)

1976

Semi commercial plant started for Morpholine production

1978

Commercialization of low temperature Dioctyl Sebacate (DOS) and Dioctyl Adipate (DOA) plasticizers were successfully done.

1980

Commercialization of Tri Octyl Trimellitate (TOTM) was sucessfuly done.

1982

Commercialization of Tri Isodecyl Tri Mellitate (TIDTM) plasticizer was successfully done.

1983

Commercialization of Butyl Benzyl Phthalate was successfully done

1984

APL Group set up Industrial Gases through its Division APL Industrial Gases

1987

Commercialization of Methyl Diethanolamine was successfully done

1991

APL was awarded the highest award, in the field of import by the Government of India for ‘Import Substitution & Product Development’

1995

Commercialization of Morpholine and Morpholine derivatives and Textile chemicals

1996

Commercialization of Propyl Ethanolamines was successfully done

APL entered into a strategic alliance with a leading world renowned chemical company in USA, Dow Chemical Company, for Technology, Products & Services provided for sour gas treating

Production of Ethyl Ethanolamines started

2000

Company started, new division Gas Treating Solvents, Technologies and Services

APL Group ventured into Information Technology sector with a tie-up with IIT Mumbai with its subsidiary Company APL Infotech Limited

Commercialization of 2-Piperidino ethanol successfully done

Commercialization of Pharmaceutical Intermediates

Expansion of DEA production Capacity Development and commercialization of N-Butyl Monoethanolamine & N-Butyl Diethanolamine

Expansion of NMMO 50% capacity
